The undead townspeople of Messiah of Evil
Messiah of Evil is a horror film about a town whose residents become zombie-like shells of themselves. Critics trace its undead to the trend started by Night of the Living Dead and note similar social criticism. Its makers disagreed afterwards about whether the shoot was ever completed.1
